Account Manager

Job Description:

The Account Manager (AM) is the client contact for project execution, managing the day-to-day client deliverables with an emphasis on overseeing texture's internal project team and facilitating the texture process. The AM should support and contribute to the strategic development of the account and possess a strong understanding of the client's business. This role is supported and mentored in marketing strategy and selling expertise by the Account Director and VP of Client Services in more strategic client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage projects during Discovery, Define, Design, Development, and maintenance for various project types, including Web sites, CD-ROMs, DVDs, print, and e-marketing
  • Coordinate tasks and deliverables between client and internal project team (Account Director, Interaction Designers, Visual Designers, and Application Developers)
  • Scope projects with support of production team leads
  • Secure project resources through traffic
  • Management of scope and change requests
  • Understand Web-based technologies including databases and content management systems
  • Contribute ideas to grow the client business
  • Manage monthly billings for maintenance and time & materials accounts
  • Work with Account Director on select accounts and manage accounts without the assistance of Account Director on select accounts
    • Client facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution
    • Be an effective spokesperson for client within texturemendia
    • Possess a strong understanding of the client's business

Requirements:

Art Director

We are looking for an incredibly qualified art director who is in turn looking to join an incredibly talented team. This person must have strong conceptual abilities, as well as the ability to see a project come to life. Must be able to collaborate with and motivate a team. This individual should possess some serious skills in interactive design and advertising, as well as some serious knowledge in traditional medias. We want someone who gets it.

The Art Director will be responsible for converting client needs/goals into award winning ideas/concepts, then working with the rest of the design team and development team to accomplish them. Outstanding problem solving and communication skills a must.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess the talent and ability to create award-winning work
  • 5-7 years of design experience with at least three of those as an Art Director for interactive work
  • Proven track record with an emphasis in interactive advertising

Flash Developer

We're looking for a Flash Developer to join our Creative department to build interactive and dynamic applications. Responsible for building highly scalable B2C and B2B web applications using Flash ActionScript 2 or greater. Applicants need to be organized, creative thinkers with strong development and production skills. This person must have the ability to see designs come to life.

Candidates will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Expert in Flash including Action Scripting (AS2), and working knowledge of AS3
  • Knowledge of design principles
  • Experience in creating class-based, XML-driven Flash applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
  • Knowledge of XML
  • Experience with HTML, PHP, ASP is desired.

Interaction Designer

texturemedia is looking to hire an Interaction Designer to join our expanding department. As an Interaction Designer, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to plan the navigational structure, design the interface requirements, and support content needs for all interactive projects: CD/DVD-ROMs, Flash applications, Rich Internet Applications, and database-driven web applications. This individual acts as a user advocate and actively works with clients to facilitate the balance between business requirements and user needs.

  • Facilitate client workshops and extract project requirements
  • Understand target audience needs and other motivating factors, translating them into concepts for user-friendly and compelling interactions
  • Scope out task flows, sitemaps, personas, and use cases
  • Perform site assessments and content audits as needed
  • Create screen wireframes and functional prototypes to ensure all business and user requirements identified are addressed
  • Work with the project team to identify and define experience models, user groups, goals and critical tasks
  • Proof deliverables from other Interaction Designers before they are sent to the client

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years in web development or agency environment
  • Experience in client services and negotiating business decisions a must
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with requirements gathering techniques, such as interviewing and assisting with group facilitation
  • Ability to clearly articulate and defend solutions
  • A keen eye for detail, and an insatiable quest for perfection
  • Proficiency in process modeling / information design tools (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator) required
  • User Interface development / Design experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of HTML, Flash/Flex, AJAX, DHTML, and database-driven technology platforms.
